360° Total Vision Underwater PTZ Camera Manual

This manual applies to Charpie underwater pan-tilt camera, Model: HO-P&T, Camera Core Model: DH-SD23D404-DP.

Step 1: Wiring

⚠️ Important Notes:

  • The POE gateway has two network interfaces. Connect the LAN port to the computer and the POE port to the surface box.

Step 2: Power on the Camera

Connect the POE gateway to power. The red light will turn on. Wait about one minute for the camera pan-tilt to self-start and patrol. Open the computer browser and enter 192.168.1.108 in the address bar. Username: admin. Password: charpie2026. After login, you can view real-time video, operate the pan-tilt, adjust the focal length, etc.

⚠️ Important Notes:

  • The computer IPv4 address must be set to the 192.168.1.X segment (X excludes 108).

Step 3: Power on the Underwater Lights

Power on the Residual Current Device, the green light will turn on. Then remotely control the on/off of the underwater lights independently via the LIGHTS ON/OFF button.

⚠️ Important Notes:

  • If the green light of the circuit breaker is off, press the square button below the green light. The power will trip automatically in case of underwater electric leakage. You can also press the TEST button to test the effectiveness of the circuit breaker.
  • Do not test the underwater lights in air for more than 30 seconds, as overheating will cause burnout.

Step 4: Adjust the Light Angle

Adjust the buttons shown in the figures below to set the lights to the optimal observation range.

Secondary Development

  1. For basic usage problems, contact the core manufacturer at the consultation hotline: 400-672-8166. Brand: Dahua, Model: DH-SD23D404-DP.

  3. Hardware Wiring: POE uses orange-white/orange/green-white/green wires; blue-white/blue wires are vacant. Red wire: Underwater light power supply (12~15VDC), Black wire: GND. Red and black wires are only used in systems with underwater lights.
  4. IEEE 802.3af standard protocol shall be adopted. DC 48V power supply and signal transmission are implemented via four cores: 1+/2+/3-/6-. Select a power rating of no less than 0.5A/24W according to cable length; use 1A or higher if the cable length exceeds 10 meters.

Maintenance

Sealing parts need to be replaced regularly. Stop using the device immediately and check for water leakage points if water mist is found inside the cabin. For maintenance, please send an email to support@charpierov.com.
