Warranty Period

CHARPIE underwater ROV products are covered by a 6-month limited warranty starting from the date of manufacture.
During the warranty period, CHARPIE will provide free repair or replacement for defects in materials or workmanship under normal and proper use.

ROV Priority Support Plan

Customers may voluntarily purchase the Premium-Care Package($ 500 / year).Upon activation, subscribers will receive the following exclusive value-added after-sales benefits throughout both the original warranty period and the subsequent service term.
  • Standard Tech Support: Priority Phone Support: Unlimited, complimentary access to professional technical guidance.
  • Remote Tech Support: Remote Diagnostics: 3 complimentary sessions/year for advanced troubleshooting and system optimization.
  • Waived Return Inspection: Complimentary Inspection: 1 free annual return inspection for complex issues. 50% discount on subsequent requests. Excludes shipping.
  • 20% Off Repair Labor: Preferred Labor Rates: Unlimited 20% discount on all professional repair services.
Note: The Premium-Care Package is billed annually and takes effect from the date of activation. It does not replace the standard 6-month manufacturer’s warranty included with the product.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage or malfunction resulting from improper use, including but not limited to:
  • Physical damage (e.g. dropping, impact, or crushing)
  • Unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair
  • Battery damage caused by over-discharge, incorrect charging, or misuse
  • Motor blockage due to foreign objects, sand, or debris
  • Use outside the specified operating environment or parameters
For issues falling outside warranty coverage, repair services are available and a basic material and labor fee may apply.

Additional Notes (Optional but Recommended)
Warranty coverage applies to the main unit only; consumable parts are excluded unless otherwise stated.
Shipping costs for warranty service may be the responsibility of the customer, depending on the case.
CHARPIE reserves the right to determine whether a product qualifies for warranty service after inspection.
