Warranty Period
CHARPIE underwater ROV products are covered by a 6-month limited warranty starting from the date of manufacture.
During the warranty period, CHARPIE will provide free repair or replacement for defects in materials or workmanship under normal and proper use.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage or malfunction resulting from improper use, including but not limited to:

Physical damage (e.g. dropping, impact, or crushing)

Unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair

Battery damage caused by over-discharge, incorrect charging, or misuse

Motor blockage due to foreign objects, sand, or debris

Use outside the specified operating environment or parameters
For issues falling outside warranty coverage, repair services are available and a basic material and labor fee may apply.

Our ROVs are pressure-tested and rated for depths up to 300 meters. Always check the product specifications before diving.Does the ROV support live video streaming?
Absolutely. Each unit supports real-time video transmission to your control computer. You can view live footage via QGroundControl, VLC, or our custom app.How long can the ROV operate on a single charge?
The 220VAC Powered ROV has unlimited underwater operation hours. For the Li-ion battery powered ROVs, the battery endurance depends on the model and usage. Typically, 2–4 hours of continuous operation under normal conditions.What is the control range?
With a tether connection, you can operate the ROV up to the length of the cable (typically 100–300 meters). Wireless control is available for surface or shallow-water testing only.Is it possible to upgrade the thrusters or add sensors?
